Independent contracting with NextWave

• Making outbound phone calls to identify, educate and interview advocates
• Ability to absorb and retain campaign details from written materials and training calls
• Clearly and confidently explain complex political issue to advocates
• An interest in policy issues and a general knowledge of the legislative process
• A pleasant, upbeat, and professional telephone demeanor
• Active listening skills and an ability to shape a conversation based on the other person’s comments and interests
• Conclude calls with accurate information
• Accurately collect and record data in our virtual calling platform
• Ability to work independently and judge when to involve management assistance
• Compliance with disclosure guidelines
• Adhere to company standards
• Print, read and  all training materials
• Prior telephone-based work experience helpful but not required. This is not a telemarketing or fundraising role

• USB headset with a microphone

Rate:

$15.00 per hour potential for performance based incentives
