Seeking College Student for Office Support in Arlington, VA:

NextWave@Home, a respected issue advocacy firm, is seeking general office support for projects involving important legislative and regulatory issues. With your skills, you will help people across the country understand the direct impacts policy makers proposals have on their lives, and then assist them in making their voices heard.

We are looking for tech-savvy, college student for clerical support in a grassroots advocacy office where we work on various legislative topics.Thisproject based work is part time or full time depending on your flexibility and availability. You choose your own schedule based on available project hours, work in our office located office across the street from the Clarendon Metro stop in Arlington, VA.

Great resume-builder for students and others interested in current events, government affairs, community organizing or grassroots outreach. Learn the ropes in fast-paced, professional environment. Tasks include mail package preparation (data retrieval, printing, assembly, mailing) and communications with volunteer advocates.

As an independent contractor with NextWave@Home you will work on different projects with flexible hours. Most work is done during regular office hours but some projects offer evenings and weekend shifts available.

  • Print mail pieces and organize for outgoing mail packages
  • Print labels and postage
  • Assemble mail pieces
  • Check voicemails and respond appropriately
  • Print, read and understand all training materials
  • Other clerical duties as assigned

  • Proficient written and verbal communication
  • Ability to read, understand and explain complex political issues
Pay Rate:

$13.00 per hour
